Followed by a panel with Margarete von Trotta (director), Bettina Brokemper, (producer), Ronald Zehrfeld (Max Frisch). With a greeting by Dr. Beate von Miquel (German Women's Council) and moderated by Caroline Rosales (author).

After Rosa Luxemburg and Hanna Arendt, Margarete von Trotta once again dedicates herself to a female light figure of the 20th century: unchanged, the Austrian poet Ingeborg Bachmann is considered one of the most important female lyricists. Based on her own screenplay, Trotta traces the toxic relationship between Ingeborg Bachmann and the Swiss literary figure Max Frisch in a film that is as elegant as it is stirring, made at great effort in six countries. The film celebrated its world premiere in competition at this year's 73rd Berlin International Festival.

About

When Ingeborg Bachmann and the Swiss writer Max Frisch met in Paris in 1958, it was the beginning of a passionate and destructive love story. But artistic clashes and Max Frisch's devouring jealousy begin to gradually destroy the harmony. Years later, Ingeborg Bachmann cannot let go of the memory of her love for him. On a trip to the desert, she tries to come to terms with her relationship with Max Frisch and slowly detach herself from it.
