Over the course of three years, the documentary follows whistleblowers and their supporters as they navigate the tension between exposing the truth and facing persecution. Three courageous individuals in Africa, Europe, and the U.S. put their lives, careers, and families at risk to reveal information that is being kept from the public purely for the sake of power. We are screening WHISTLEBLOWER as a preview ahead of its nationwide theatrical release, followed by a discussion with journalists Frederik Obermaier and Bastian Obermayer, moderated by Margarete Bause (Transparency International).
